The Fine Print

1 Precision and performance values assume a minimum of 9-satellites in multipath clear, EMI free, obstruction free environment with reasonable atmospheric conditions and satellite geometry. Network based solutions based on shortest actual baseline. Post-processed accuracy is dependent on baseline length and time-on-point, 24-hour observations may be required. Stable mounts and generally accepted survey practices are required for the highest order survey results.

2 Battery life varies with temperature and battery age. An external power source is recommended for static occupations lasting longer than 4-hours and base operation longer than 2 hours. Elevated and extreme cold working or storage temperatures (> 85°F, <-20°F) hasten capacity loss.

4 Initialization times assume reasonable baseline, constellation and number of SV’s in a multipath and obstruction clear environment.

The GNSS Engine

As additional Galileo and BeiDou satellites come online, your under canopy performance will be best if you can track every signal on all satellite constellations. The X91+ receivers track every signal out of the box. There are no additional options to purchase, there is no fine print.

Be careful comparing the X91+ to other receivers that claim to track 4 constellations (GPS+GLO+GAL+BDU) but only track 3 constellations at once! Don't be fooled by receivers that require expensive options to enable L2C, L5, Galileo and BeiDou tracking. The X91+ receivers track everything out of the box, standard.

Fully Modeled GNSS Antenna

The X91+Satel has a fully modeled [ Absolute Type Mean Robotic Antenna Calibration.] Many competing devices only have relative antenna calibrations which result in inferior static observation processing (think NGS OPUS.)

The X91+Satel receiver is listed on the NGS [ Acceptable CORS Station ] device list.

The UHF Radio

We believe that the Satel 1-watt internal radios that we include in the X91+Satel receivers have the highest sensitivity and the best range of any UHF alternative. With the included antenna extension cable, we routinely get 4 - 9 miles of coverage - in town - in real-world situations.

Static Observation Memory

The X91+Satel includes 4-gigabytes of internal memory for storing static observations. This is important if you are going to post-process your base location using OPUS or other online processing systems.

We include our innovative Download tool that automates the submission process for OPUS, RTX, AusPos and IBGE.

We include detailed printed User Manuals that simplify both RTK and Static use. Most configurations are shown with step-by-step configurations that include details about why you are making each selection.
